I was instantly attracted to Human Nature's Tea Tree Oil, which was only PHP295.00 for 30ml! (The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil is about the same price for a third that amount.) When I saw it at Beauty Bar, I bought it without a second thought. I discovered right after using the Tea Tree Oil just how Human Nature was able to price it so low.
Fooled again my clever marketing tools!
Even if it was significantly diluted, Human Nature's Tea Tree Oil only contains those 2 ingredients, so I hoped that the Tea Tree Oil would work in a similar way as The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil I was used to. I applied it to a problem zit that appeared on my skin 3x a day religiously for 3 days straight, but the blemish was unaffected. With The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil, I'd see results by the very next day. I also just hate the gross, slick layer that the Human Nature Tea Tree Oil leaves on your skin, while pure tea tree oil dries right away without a trace.
I purchased this Human Nature product so quickly because I used to trust Human Nature to deliver natural, harm-free, high quality products. However, I suppose that the bigger brands get, the more costs they have to cut, and they end up selling you subpar, low quality, diluted products compared to when they were still a small enterprise. I know it was also my fault to have not read the fine print like I usually do, and I've learned by lesson from it as well as lost a great deal of respect for Human Nature.
